TEACHER PROFILE – Marnie McDonald

I have been practicing yoga for about six years and have been a teacher for three, having completed my teacher training in Sivananda Yoga in July 2007.  Although my training is in Sivananda, I’m primarily self-taught so in class I usually mix things up a bit.  I like to use whatever poses or techniques I consider the most effective rather than sticking to a single style or school of yoga.  Classes can therefore vary a lot, as I will adapt each class to the needs and experience of the students in it.  While I do my best to challenge students and help them to improve, my main goal is for students to understand that yoga is all about how it feels on the inside, not how it looks on the outside, and for everybody to have some fun and leave class feeling better than when they arrived.

TEACHER PROFILE – Toni Evans

Toni became interested in the mind-body connection whilst studying drama and theatre at university in the UK. She qualified as a hypnotherapist & solution focused therapist in 2008. Having practiced yoga for several years, she qualified as a teacher January 2010. She has studied and practiced many different forms of yoga and incorporates elements of all of them in her classes.

TEACHER PROFILE – Tone Brandsæter

Tone is a reflexologist and health/fitness instructor who has been teaching classes since 1992. In 2006 she completed her Pilates education at "Pilates Room" in Oslo.
